If there's anyone that knows anything about being from the Bronx; you know that nothing that goes on in the streets is a figment of your imagination. What you see is what you get - and by all means you always represent.  The same goes for any lyricist that is blessed to hail from that borough which is also affectionately known as the birthplace of Hip Hop. Peter Chin or PC as he is known in the street, grew up on 228th and Carpenter Ave. He learned from a very early age growing up in the Bronx, that anything he wanted and got he had to work hard for it, and he was and is still focused . Although he had no idea rapping and writing about his experiences in the streets could one day serve as a catalyst to get those things . Growing up the child of  a struggling working class single mother and being of Asian and Hispanic decent, PC was always around and loved music, but never expected to become an artist. But surprisingly that love of music turned into hanging out in studios, practicing and learning engineering and creating tracks, to writing lyrics which seemed to come to him naturally. His creativity was born from the images and and struggles he witnessed in the street. The music served as an outlet from the everyday life situations and stress you experience growing up in the hood.

With lyrical influences like Nas, Biggie, The Lox, and Wu-tang Clan, the content and metaphors in his rhymes gives insight into his life, and what goes on in those fast paced streets filled with money, drugs, and sex, from sun up to sun down....and his desire to grind, hustle, and make it happen by any means necessary. There are many similarities in hustling in the street and in the music game - you have to always be working , staying ahead of the rest, and the product has to be good. PC understands this grind. He definitely is not a newbie to the music game. PC's first introduction album entitled “Scar Muzik”, a mixtape entitled “Audio Calligraphy”, and group project by the name of Heavy on the Lemon entitled “ A Sour Life” and appearances on various compilations and indepedant films PC takes every listener on a bird’s eye view where you can see, feel, or relate to the stories bering told. Being able to relate and feel what is being said is key , and PC has the blueprint for what makes a lyricist great -hard hitting beats and life stories turned into lyrics. Coming up in the ranks of such great Bronx rappers before him, such as Big Pun, Fat Joe, and countless others with great lyrics and equally hard tracks. PC represents to the fullest.

PC feels as far as style and sound is concerned lyricism is what is lacking in today’s rap music , and he wants to bring that that art form back in his music . “Catchy dance hooks are cool every now and then,” “but the lyrics and the beats are what grabs the listener with rap music.” PC knows in order to “speak about anything you must know about it”.  This is reflective in his music off the “God Muzik” album solely produced by Wu-Tang Clan producer Su-Preme. With tracks like “Limits” , “Creeping thru Silent”, and “Laws of Power”. PC speaks on the fast life in those streets, and assured cockiness as displayed in the track “Can’t See Me” and “Bars". PC ‘s versatility and diversity in his switching up of styles of rap makes him one to supply every die hard hip hop head with many styles of rhymes reminiscent of the different styles of rap music that made the 90’s hip hop era golden. If you like your hip hop music hard and gritty, catchy and metaphoric, or if you need something to bounce your head to while puffing on something, PC has what you need on this sophomore project. Like the beloved borough PC hails from everything about PC exudes NYC - his music, attitude and style of dress he goes with what he knows ......you can most times find him rocking a fitted on his head, a pair of designer dark shades (eyewear ), and latest street gear on-he’s motivated, on his grind and staying focused in this game.
